Exmoor is the perfect place for a break from the every day and for those who love the outdoors. With walks onto the moor from the doorstep and the Devon coast just a 30-minute drive away.

“We had a lovely time in Simonsbath at the cottage. It’s a good and comfortable base to then explore the local areas – and further afield – but you will need a car!
The cottage is lovely and was the perfect place for us to relax and is very cool inside (very much appreciated as we stayed during the heatwave). There is free parking right outside the door and it is right opposite a very nice pub. There are country walks on the doorstep which have lovely views. We also took the opportunity to explore neighbouring villages as well as a drive to the coast – Lynton and Lymouth are about 25 mins drive and a beautiful sandy beach at Woolacombe is a 40min drive (there are other options closer but this is just what we decided to do).”
